Breed Like Kangaroo
Chris brought her new-born twins to office today. Boy! Have they grown! Gregory and Grace are now at hefty 5.5 and 5 kg respectively..just after 2 months! They captured all our attention even when they're sleeping. Grace fell asleep a short while after I carried her. Hee...
Boss say I have the makings of breeding like a kangaroo when I'm in OZ. Do kangaroos breed alot? I checked up the breeding habits of kangaroo and here's what it says on the website:
""A female kangaroo is usually pregnant in permanence (means indefinitely), except on the day she gives birth; however, she has the ability to freeze the development of an embryo until the previous joey is able to leave the pouch. The composition of the milk produced by the mother varies according to the needs of the joey. In addition, she is able to simultaneously produce two different kinds of milk for the newborn and the older joey who still lives in the pouch""
Oh my!
Kanga
